SW 31 is the home quarter with a 3 bedroom home, constructed in 1972.  It has a finished basement with a second bathroom, bedroom, family room, cold room and laundry/furnace room.  The house is heated with oil heat and has a large covered deck, rock patio, fire pit and pond.

The yard is truly scenic with many natural trees, some planted trees and a creek.  The perfect spot to spend a warm summer evening is on that deck, watching the wildlife that is in abundance.

There is an excellent water supply here, with a new well in 2002 that pumps over 15 gallons per minute, very good test for safe use.  A watering bowl and hydrant, as well as a lagoon, are on site. There is also a spring on the home quarter.

A good garden patch has been established, with raspberries, a strawberry bed and producing asparagus.

There are storage buildings, bins and fuel tanks, underground power and telephone, and a grid road with a school bus to Kelvington.  (For more information on Kelvington, please visit the town home page by clicking here.)

There is a dugout on NW 31, and the parcel is only 10 minutes to Greenwater Lake Provincial Park (find more about the area by clicking here), even closer to Round lake.  Excellent fishing!

230 acres of the package is seed to grass - some pasture, more can be fenced, the remainder is natural bush.  This is great cattle country.

There is abundant wildlife here: deer, elk, moose, geese and more.  It's a photographer's paradise with great bird-watching.

At the winter bird feeder we have blue jays, Canada jays, nuthatches, chick-a-dees, pine grosbeaks, evening grosbeaks, woodpeckers, and redpolls.

In the spring they are joined by juncos, purple finches and other summer birds as they arrive.  In the summer we have any hummingbirds, and orioles at the feeders, and numerous species of birds in the yard.

Route 66 snowmobile trail crosses this land with close accessibility to the house.  (For more about local snow sports, visit this page.)

Land currently being rented could be negotiated on to complete the package.
