He joins a pretty select group of people who have contributed greatly to the agriculture scene here in Saskatchewan. Although it may seem as if the prairie branch line rail network has been completely skeletonized by the major railways, the job is not yet truly complete. CP still has 911 kilometres of track on its Three-Year Plan for abandonment in the prairie provinces, and CN has 613 kilometres. Nor does this rule out further abandonments by the major carriers. At least one major railway has stated that there are still too many grain elevator points and by extension, too many rail lines. |

| Little MoJo, a Yorkie/Havanese cross, is the herd sire among the non-purebreds. Once the pups are born he hasn’t got the slightest interest in them, in fact avoids them completely. However, the ankle-biters’ mother, Tripod (or Sweetie as she is supposed to be called – she has only three legs) was retired as soon as the pups were weaned, and she was given to a good home. As soon as she left, MoJo took over the care of the little guys, playing with them constantly and, occasionally, disciplining them. What a change! | |
